专利说明:

The invention relates to a device for preventing backflow of contaminated water, so-called backwater, in an undesired direction in a sewage installation, eg a floor drain, ie that water flows back into the floor drain. The invention also relates to a drainage installation in which the device is installed.
Background technology Sewage pipes in residential buildings and other properties, such as industrial properties, schools, hospitals, value establishments, etc., are often located with a slight vertical slope opposite the horizontal plane to ensure a fall away from a sewer, under the building or below the floor from which sewers to sewers. Falls away from floor drains are normally dimensioned with a slope between 1-3 degrees. However, for reasons of space, these cases may be smaller. Improper installations and changes in the building, for example through settlements, can lead to the sewer lines having a negative slope, ie that the slope is on the wrong side, ie in the direction of the floor drain so wastewater is transported back to the floor drain.
SE 536244 relates to a device for preventing liquids and gases from flowing in the desired direction. The problem is solved by means of non-return valves which consist of a self-sealing membrane, the flow being stated to be completely unidirectional, ie without undesired sealing flow towards the inlet of the drain pipe in which the membrane is arranged. However, the membrane in SE536244 will become contaminated, with backwater settling as a single plug under the membrane, which will greatly deteriorate and ultimately the intended function of the membrane membrane to achieve one-way flow.
The present invention aims to provide a flow with acceptable pressure drop while solving the problem of backflow of wastewater and excluding avodors. The invention also intends to provide the technology with a cost-effective device which can be installed and maintained in a simple and fast manner in a system such as a sewage installation or in ground and drainage installations.
The invention The present invention relates to a sleeve for mounting in drainage installations for preventing backflow of water, said sleeve being adapted to be arranged in a substantially horizontal drain pipe, the sleeve comprising a wall part extending inwards from the inner jacket surface of the sleeve.
The invention also relates to a drainage installation containing a sleeve as defined above and a substantially horizontal drain pipe, said sleeve being installed in said drain pipe so that said wall part forms a barrier in the lower part of said drain pipe to prevent unwanted water from flowing again.
The term sleeve refers to an insert, sleeve or similar hollow cylindrical element with an inner and an outer jacket surface suitable for insertion and installation in a pipeline, for example a drainage pipeline. The term wall portion refers to a barrier in the form of a segment, preferably a circular segment, of the cross-sectional area within the inner circumferential surface of the sleeve which absorbs and impedes flow through said wall portion. Wastewater must then flow through the part of the cross-sectional area which is not blocked by said wall part. The wall part can have different geometric shapes that sufficiently block backflow. The size of this surface depends on the flows that occur through the sleeve. According to one embodiment, the wall part has a shape consisting of a segment, for example a circle segment, which is delimited by a chord. The height of the wall part, hv, eg hvj, refers to if the sleeve wall part consists of a circular segment, and the sleeve is placed in a tube, a straight line out from the center of the chord (the chord corresponds to the border line 8 in fig.1 b) to the inner mantle surface ( at the lower part of the pipe) from which the wall part extends sigradially in the direction of the center line of the pipe. According to a preferred embodiment, the socket is installed in a drain pipe, the wall part being oriented in the lower end of the pipe, the upper edge (8) of the wall part being constituted by a cord. By installing the socket with its wall part in a sewer line so that the socket forms a barrier in the lower part of the drain pipe, the possibility of blocking effluent wastewater (backwater) is optimized.
According to a preferred embodiment, the wall part of the sleeve has a height hv, wherein from 35 to 85% of the cross-sectional area inside the sleeve surface of the sleeve consists of the wall part, preferably from about 35 to about 60 ° / °.
According to a preferred embodiment, said wall part has a height hv from about 15 to about 60 mm, for example from about 15 to about 30 mm. In these height ranges, a sufficient barrier is obtained in the event of backwater currents, the sleeve completely or practically blocking all backwater.
According to a preferred embodiment, the sleeve has at its one end a flange adapted to abut against the mouth of a drain pipe.
According to a preferred embodiment, the ratio between the length of the wall part and the length of the sleeve is from about 1:75 to about 1: 1.
According to a preferred embodiment, the sleeve is made of an elastomer, preferably of EPD1 / I (ethylene-propylenediene L1 / 1-grade rubber).
According to a preferred embodiment, the sleeve has a length of from about 10 to about 150 mm, preferably from about 20 to about 40, eg about 20 to about 30 mm.
According to a preferred embodiment, said sleeve has a diameter of from about 30 to about 110 mm, preferably from about 40 to about 110 mm.
According to a preferred embodiment, said sleeve is arranged concentrically in said drain pipe, the sleeve being enclosed by the inner wall of the drain pipe against which the sleeve abuts.
According to a preferred embodiment, said sleeve is mounted between a water load and said drain pipe.
According to a preferred embodiment, said drain pipe has a slope of +5 to - 5 degrees towards the horizontal plane. The mentioned case is defined here as a positive case if the slope of the drain pipe is directed downwards away from, for example, a floor drain. It is known that cases of various reasons can be negative, ie that the substantially horizontal drain pipe is directed downwards towards, for example, a floor drain, which by gravity increases the risk of backwater flow. According to a preferred embodiment, the sleeve is installed in the mouth of the drain pipe.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the sleeve has connection flanges and / or connection threads at one end. According to this embodiment, the sleeve can be fixed in a more secure manner at the mouth of a drain pipe. According to an embodiment according to which the sleeve is provided with flanges for installation in the mouth of a drain pipe whose diameter at said flanges is from about 30 to about 180 mm.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the sleeve has grooves, gaps, grooves or similar arrangements on its outer jacket surface. Through this embodiment, the fixing and abutment of the sleeve against the inner wall of, for example, a drain pipe is improved.
The thickness of the cylindrical surface lv of the sleeve is preferably from about 2 to about 20 mm, for example from about 2 to about 10 mm.
The invention can advantageously be used in drainage, ground and drainage pipes, preferably in drainage pipes from, for example, households and other buildings in order to prevent the emergence of backflow of backwater which in turn can cause the spread of bacteria and odors from the drain.
Brief Description of the Drawings Figures 1a-e show a drainage installation containing a socket with a wall part preventing the backflow of wastewater.
Figure 2 shows an isovy view of a sleeve provided with a wall part.
Description of preferred embodiments Figure 1a shows a drainage installation 1 in which a water drain 2 is arranged in the vicinity of a floor well 5. Downstream of the water drain 2 a sleeve 3 is arranged in a substantially horizontal drain pipe 4. The air 3 is provided with a wall part (not visible in Fig. 1a) which forms a segment, preferably circular segment, of the cross-sectional area defined by the sleeve wall part. Figure 1b shows a sleeve 3 with wall part 6 (in figure 1b the wall part is an integral part of the sleeve) installed in such a way that the wall part 6 is oriented the underside of the pipe to obtain the greatest possible barrier effect against refluxing water, ie in the opposite flow direction 7. In figure 1a it can also be seen that the attack drain pipe 4 has a slope in relation to the horizontal plane. This slope is arranged to simplify flow of wastewater away from floor well 5 and counteract backflow of wastewater, ie backwater flow in the opposite direction to 7. The slope constitutes the fall of the drain pipe which in this case is defined as positive slope when the slope of the pipe is down in the desired flow. Should the slope instead be product-oriented towards the floor drain, this is defined as negative. In figure 1b the upper edge 8 of the wall part is parallel to the center line 9 of the pipe, eg the height of the wall part, e.g. The upper part of the wall part can, however, be made up of different geometric shapes. In Figure 1b, the wall part forms a barrier with the shape of a circle segment where the upper edge is a chord. Figure two shows a socket joint in the axial direction of the drain pipe. The height of the wall part is hv1, which is shown in figure 1d. Figure 1d also shows that the sleeve has a diameter d; corresponding tube inner diameter. The thickness of the cylindrical surface of the sleeve is lv and the length of the sleeve is ch. Figure 1e shows a sleeve fitted with flanges for installation in the mouth of a pipe. The outer diameter of the air at the flanges is dv. Figure 2 shows an iso view of a section of a drain pipe 4 and socket 3 with a wall part with a height hv.
